Ventilation Installation
Channel Design Methods
Co-Friction Method
In this method, which is widely used as a design, the diameter is made by keeping the friction loss constant and reducing the speed from the feeding direction to the flow direction. Since the speed gradually decreases in this method, the disadvantage of noise and vibration is eliminated.
Static Recovery Method
In this system, which is more complex than the co-friction method, the reflux adjustment of the system can be made more healthy, since the pressure drop is provided in the main lines and arms. In cases where the channel route is long, the increase in the size of the channel and the resulting speed decrease cause the insulation cost to increase and to occupy space as a construction.
Extended Plenums
It is a duct method designed as arms stuck on the main line at short distances. In this method, heat gain and heat loss are high because the air velocity is low and the air velocity is almost the same everywhere.
Speed Method
Appropriate velocities are selected according to the flow rates based on experience and speeds are increased by approaching the device. The balance of the system is ensured by maintaining the flow rate-speed ratio at the separation points. This method, which is completely based on experience, is a method frequently used in projects
Noise Control in Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems Sound and vibration, which is the most determining parameter of duct design, is one of the most important elements to be considered in duct installation
If we summarize the reasons for the formation of sound and vibration under a few main headings, the most important of these is the transfer of the sound and vibration generated in the power plants to other sections by the channel and the deficiencies in the selection of speed – flow rate and sheet thickness during design.
As a precaution, it is necessary to use products that act as special insulators for the power plants and duct connections, and to minimize the noise with special silencers that can carry these flows. In addition, products that act as special insulators should be used in the mounting methods and fixing techniques of the device. Of course, the most important of these is the application of the channel designed by experienced engineers at appropriate speeds.

Hygienic Air Conditioning
What is Hygienic Air Conditioning?
As can be understood from its word meaning, adapting the word hygiene, which means healthy, to air conditioners and getting perfect results, has reached the top point today in parallel with the development of engineering. It is of utmost importance to determine the needs in order to ensure the air quality and to make the equipment and manufacture suitable for these needs.
Points to Consider in Hygienic Air Conditioning Design An accurate project where the air cycle coefficient is well calculated
֍ Well-fictionalized automation of the designed system that will instantly respond to instant changes (external air temperature, indoor air temperature, outdoor air quality, indoor air quality, etc.)
֍ Selection of supporting devices, ducts and air distribution products in accordance with the relevant specifications in order to keep bacterial growth to a minimum.

Air Distribution and Control
The control of the air produced for a comfortable area is possible with suitable products.
In the selection of these products, they should be selected by adhering to some criteria such as the structure of the building where the project is applied, architecture, and the area to be served.
Grilles: Provides the transmission and reception of air in the simplest way possible.
Anemostats: It provides homogeneous distribution of air in four directions.
Swirl Diffusers: It is preferred in distributions with high air flow rates.
Jet Diffusers: They are preferred in situations where high speeds can be chosen with high shooting distances.
Air Dampers (Volume Damper): It is a product that controls air flows and flows.
Stot Diffusers: They are preferred for linear throws in VAV applications.
